From the south via M11, (12.6 miles) at junction 11, take the A10 to A1309/Cambridge (south), then take the A603 (Trumpington Rd) to Cambridge. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto A1309, keep right and continue on the A1134. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Lensfield Rd/A603. At the traffic light, go straight ahead onto Gonville Place.
From the north via A14, (6.9 miles) take exit Cambridge A1307/A10, keep right and take the exit to A1307. Continue onto Castle St A1134, turn right onto Mount Pleasant Rd A1134. Continue on the A1134 until you reach the roundabout, take 1st exit onto Trumpington Rd. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Lensfield Rd. At the traffic light, go straight ahead onto Gonville Place.

The car park is covered by CCTV and security lit for peace of mind.

If the car park is full on your arrival, please check with a member of the Reception Team who will advise on alternative spaces. Alternatively, the Queen Anne Terrace car park is located 100m from the Gonville Hotel (turn right at the exit). Prices start from £14 – £17.50 for 6 hours and over, with additional overnight hours from 0.80p per hour.
We have two Tesla and two Pod Point electric vehicle charging bays available for residents use. All are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Pod Point bays are priced at a competitive rate per kWh.
We recommend downloading the Pod Point app (iOS | Android) prior to arrival.
Early check in, anytime prior to 3pm on the day of arrival and late checkout, anytime after 11am on the day of departure, can usually be arranged although neither are guaranteed and both are by request on arrival.
Our hotel is non-smoking in all guest bedrooms. Smoking is permitted outside in our designated smoking areas. If evidence of smoking is found in any of our bedrooms, a fee of £50 and the missing nights revenue – due to taking the room out of service – is chargeable.
The Gonville Hotel is dog friendly. By this we mean properly friendly and not just tolerant.
Pooches are welcome in the public areas, bar and Atrium brasserie. Additionally, the Gonville has some great outside space as well as a secure area that means that your four-legged friend can run around freely without fear of traffic or wandering off.
There is a charge of £25 per night to allow the hotel to deep clean the bedrooms. The Gonville will make sure that your dog gets a VIP arrival and a treat on their first day.
The Gonville Hotel offers complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi to all of its guests. You will be offered the opportunity to join our mailing list but don’t worry, this is not compulsory.
During your stay, we are happy to offer you complimentary use of a “Gonville bike”.

We are pleased to offer a special 20% discount to all hotel guests from Monday to Friday inclusive (excludes weekends). Please ask at reception for your residents discount card.
We are able to order flowers prior to guests arriving at the hotel from Cambridge floral designs. We can order flowers for any amount starting from £25. Contact reception to arrange this service.
If you are staying for a celebration or would like an extra treat in your room you are able to order a bottle of wine, bottles of beer, glasses or a bottle of Prosecco or Champagne, a platter of chocolates or a fruit platter prior to arrival.
Cards can also be written to accompany these extras.
