Restaurant Booking Policy

We have teamed up with ResDiary to make the table booking process as smooth as possible. Reservations can also be made via the Dish Cult app & via social media.

Please note, that tables can be reserved up until 1 hour prior to the start of service. Walk-ins are always welcome however we recommend placing a booking ahead of time to avoid disappointment as reservations will always be prioritised.

Online bookings can be made for groups of up to 8 people. For parties larger than 8 guests, please call us on 01223 366611 or email restaurant@gonvillehotel.co.uk.

Please ensure that you arrive on time for your reservation. Please advise us if you are running later than 15 minutes as your table will be released if we have not been contacted.

If you wish to cancel or amend your reservation you can do that via the links in your confirmation email, by emailing us at restaurant@gonvillehotel.co.uk or by calling us on 01223 366611.

We require card details to confirm Afternoon Tea reservations. No charges are made in advance but your card will be charged £10.00 per person ONLY if the cancellation is made within 24 hours prior to your reservation or in the case of no-shows.

Please let us know if you are planning to bring your dog with you as not all our tables are dog-friendly.

Please make sure your contact number and email are up to date. You will receive a confirmation email immediately after making a booking. If you haven’t received your confirmation (we advise you to check your spam/junk folder) or any details are incorrect, please get in touch with us by emailing restaurant@gonvillehotel.co.uk or by calling us on 01223 366611.

Additional notes:

A discretionary service charge of 10% will automatically be added to your bill. Most of our produce is locally sourced. Please advise us of any specific dietary requirements, food intolerances or allergies ahead of placing your order.

Due to limited availability, we cannot guarantee a table in the bar prior to your booking.

All guests should adhere to government guidelines on dining with other households and respect social distancing.

We are taking precautionary measures in addition to procedures that already are in place.
